Unit Information: Aventura MC – CT Tech (726) Location: Aventura Hospital and Medical Center Address: 20900 Biscayne Blvd, Aventura, FL, 33180 Floor: Building: General Information Tell us about the unit(s): · Number of Beds – 18 · Number of Staff – 8 · Type of staff: Radiologist, radiologist techs, Ultrasound Techs, MRI Techs, CT Techs o Day Shift – Director, Radiologist, 6-7 Techs o Night Shift – Charge RN, On-call team, 3-4 Techs, varies on volume · Patient Ratios – 1:1, 1:2, depending on stability of patient · Type of equipment – ALL GE Equipment, MRI Units, scanners, cameras, x-ray, fluoroscopy · EMR – Meditech Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters) Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. · ARRT (CT) & BLS · Strongly prefer experience with GE and Meditech Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first. · RT (T), ASRT · FASRT List typical procedures performed on unit(s): · CT Scan, MRI, body scanner , X-Rays · Create pictures of bones, organs, tissues and combine to create accurate picture assessment Best personality Fit: · Communications skills, medical and anatomical skills, mechanical aptitude · Ability to multi-task, work with variety of physicians, radiologists, patients Dress Code : Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire. · Scrub Color – Navy Blue · Awards/Recognition: Feel free to include items such as links to videos that feature the department, outstanding department/team awards, reigning annual chili cook-off winners, etc. · New 1.2 million state of the art computed tomography scanner just added · Certified comprehensive Stroke Center, American Heart Gold Plus Achievement Award
