Medical Office Front Desk Receptionist / Patient Care Coordinator
- Location: Miami Beach, FL 33140 (Near Mt Sinai Hospital)
- Schedule: Monday-Friday 8-5
- Pay Rate: $17- $20/hr (depending on experience)
- Our Musts: Bi-lingual (English & Spanish), Minimum three years in a Front Desk or Admin role
RESPONSIBILITES
- Answering telephones
- Preparing patient files
- Greeting patients
- Collecting payments
- Scheduling appointments
- End of day cash register reconciliation
- Maintaining office organization
- Verifying insurance benefits
- Making appointment reminder telephone calls
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bilingual English and Spanish
- EMR experience is required
- Triage calls is required
- Scheduling experience is required
- Knowledge of appointment manager software is a plus
- General front office duties
- Excellent telephone and customer service skills
- Must be comfortable multi-tasking and working in a high volume environment
- Must be detailed oriented and organized
- Strong problem solving skills
- Works well in a team setting
- Works well under pressure and in a busy office environment
- Is a quick learner
- Plans and carries out responsibilities with minimal direction and maximum accountability
PREFERENCES:
- Experience with insurance and referrals.
- Exceptional customer service skills
