Registered Nurse - Oncology
Location:
Aurora, CO
Schedule / Job Type:
Travel, Full-time, Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized nursing care to oncology patients in a 345-bed medical center
- Float across inpatient Med/Surg and Rehabilitation units as needed
- Administer treatments, including chemo procedures, and monitor patient responses
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record system (Meditech)
- Ensure compliance with unit policies and safety protocols
Required Qualifications:
- Valid RN license in applicable state
- Minimum of 2 years of current Telemetry nursing experience
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Chemo certification (preferred; scheduling opportunities available)
- Strong experience with Telemetry units
- Flexibility and willingness to float across units
- Compassionate team player with excellent communication skills
