Key Responsibilities

• Provide care for laboring patients, postpartum mothers, and newborns throughout the entire childbirth process and postpartum period.
• Perform triage assessments and non-stress tests (NSTs) to monitor fetal well-being.
• Serve as a second nurse during deliveries and assist with managing overflow patients.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, pediatricians, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care.
• Support patients experiencing complications during pregnancy, labor, or recovery, ensuring safe and compassionate interventions.

Required Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse with labor and delivery training.
• Certifications: Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), STABLE, and Fetal Monitoring (Intermediate or above).
• Prior experience in a labor and delivery unit highly preferred.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.
• Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting.
