Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care on a busy cardiac/pulmonary telemetry unit.
- Float to other medical-surgical or ICU units as needed, with demonstrated flexibility.
- Ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes through continuous monitoring and intervention.
- Document patient information accurately in Epic EMR within the last 12 months.
- Support a team-oriented environment in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
- Assist in orienting new staff or travelers when necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Tennessee or compact nursing license.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience, specifically in PCU or telemetry units.
- Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
- Epic EMR experience within the past 12 months; detailed on profile.
- Ability to adapt to different units and support float responsibilities.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred.
- Strong cardiac and pulmonary telemetry skills.
- Flexibility to work night shifts and support unit needs.
