Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to oncology patients in an acute care inpatient setting.
- Administer chemotherapy and other IV treatments in accordance with physician orders.
- Monitor patient condition, manage symptoms, and respond to emergencies promptly.
- Document patient care accurately and maintain compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Assist with patient education and support related to treatment procedures.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in oncology nursing or a related specialty.
- Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Oncology chemotherapy certification preferred.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced acute care environment.
- Ability to work night shifts and handle complex patient needs.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
