Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care in the operating room for elective surgical procedures including orthopedics, spine, general, cardiovascular, plastics, GYN, robotics, and urology.
• Assist in preparing the OR, ensuring sterile techniques and proper equipment setup.
• Support surgical team members during procedures, maintaining patient safety and comfort.
• Document patient care and surgical procedures accurately in the electronic medical record system.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure smooth surgical operations and patient recovery.
• Adhere to unit policies, guidelines, and safety protocols to deliver high-quality care.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years of OR nursing experience.
• Experience with elective surgical cases in orthopedics, spine, cardiovascular, or related fields.
• Proficiency with Meditech EMR system.
• Ability to work flexible schedules and adapt to the team environment.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in orthopedics and spine surgery.
• Knowledge of cardiovascular procedures.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Adaptability to new technology and equipment.
