Key Responsibilities
- Perform dosimetry planning and analysis for radiation therapy treatments.
- Manage a caseload of approximately 25 patients per day.
- Collaborate with radiation oncologists and radiation therapists to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Utilize advanced radiation oncology software, including ARIA and EPIC, to ensure precise patient treatment documentation.
- Operate Varian 21 EX/iX equipment, adhering to safety and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all applicable licensing and certification requirements.
Required Qualifications
- CA State License as a Dosimetrist.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in radiation dosimetry.
- ARRT certification, including ARRT (T) in Radiation Therapy.
- BLS certification.
- Proficiency with ARIA and EPIC electronic medical records systems.
- Experience operating Varian 21 EX/iX radiation equipment.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior work in an oncology center setting.
- Knowledge of radiation treatment planning and delivery software.
- Ability to float between different units within the facility if needed.
- Local candidates preferred.
