Key Responsibilities

• Perform dosimetry planning and analysis for radiation therapy treatments.
• Manage a caseload of approximately 25 patients per day.
• Collaborate with radiation oncologists and radiation therapists to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Utilize advanced radiation oncology software, including ARIA and EPIC, to ensure precise patient treatment documentation.
• Operate Varian 21 EX/iX equipment, adhering to safety and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all applicable licensing and certification requirements.

Required Qualifications

• CA State License as a Dosimetrist.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in radiation dosimetry.
• ARRT certification, including ARRT (T) in Radiation Therapy.
• BLS certification.
• Proficiency with ARIA and EPIC electronic medical records systems.
• Experience operating Varian 21 EX/iX radiation equipment.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior work in an oncology center setting.
• Knowledge of radiation treatment planning and delivery software.
• Ability to float between different units within the facility if needed.
• Local candidates preferred.
