Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a 28-bed PCU/IMCU with a cardiac population
• Monitor and manage patients with conditions such as STEMI, NSTEMI, C/P, and related cardiac issues
• Administer cardiac drips including Milrinone, Dobutamine, and pressors as prescribed
• Maintain patient safety and ensure adherence to clinical protocols, including telemetry monitoring for lower acuity beds
• Document all patient care activities accurately and promptly in accordance with hospital policies
• Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care

Required Qualifications

• Valid registered nurse licensure in the state of Georgia
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a similar-sized cardiac or stepdown unit (working in a 28-bed PCU/IMCU or equivalent)
• Documented experience in PCU/IMCU settings with cardiac patient populations
• Current BLS and ACLS certification
• Experience managing cardiac medications and drips (Milrinone, Dobutamine, Pressors)
• Ability to load demographic information and badge photo as required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a magnet or tertiary care facility
• Strong understanding of telemetry monitoring and cardiac care protocols
• Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
