Job Title
• Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type
• Travel - 13-week contract, Night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct patient care to IMC/PCU/Stepdown patients in a transplant and stepdown unit.
• Monitor patients closely, including those with complex conditions such as organ transplants.
• Administer medications, including Heparin gtts and PCA’s.
• Perform wound and drain care, including wound vacs, chest tubes, and JP drains.
• Utilize advanced equipment such as bladder scanners, Mobilabs, EKG machines, and virtual sitter cameras.
• Document all clinical activities accurately in Meditech EMR and adhere to unit policies and protocols.

Required Qualifications
• Valid and current Registered Nurse license.
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in IMC, PCU, or Stepdown units.
• Experience caring for transplant patients, specifically kidney, liver, or pancreas.
• Proficiency with wound care, drains, and complex patient monitoring.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts reliably and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with Solid Organ Transplant procedures.
• Strong multi-tasking and interpersonal skills.
• Previous experience with Meditech EMR.
