Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care on a telemetry unit, monitoring cardiac rhythms and responding to alarms.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety.
• Document patient interactions and clinical observations accurately in the electronic medical record.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Follow unit protocols, policies, and procedures to maintain high-quality care standards.
• Assist with procedures such as wound care, bracing, and use of specialized equipment like CPM machines and external fixation devices.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or eligible for licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Med/Surg experience, preferably in telemetry or cardiac care settings.
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts, including weekends as required.
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Experience with TNCC or additional trauma/critical care certifications.
• Familiarity with Welch Allyn vital signs monitors and GE telemetry systems.
• Prior travel nurse experience is a plus.
