Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to neonatal patients in a Level III NICU setting
- Monitor and assess critically ill newborns, including those requiring ventilation and other life support measures
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with medical team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient care and progress accurately and thoroughly
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Level III or Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Valid RN license in the state of Massachusetts
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, including every other weekend
- Must be fully vaccinated for flu (season begins 09/02), with medical exemptions accepted
- BLS certification preferred
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with high-acuity neonatal patients and complex care needs
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Prior experience working in a hospital setting with a focus on neonatal intensive care

Additional Details
- No local travelers (must reside more than 50 miles from Boston)
- Weekly orientation sessions every Monday (excluding holidays)
- Paid parking available and accessible public transportation options
- Guaranteed 72 hours per biweekly pay period (excluding on-call time)
- Contract start date: 09/02, with seasonal coverage expected
Note: Candidates must provide availability for interview along with their application. All RTO requests should be submitted at the time of application. Candidates who have worked for the same health system within the past year are ineligible unless separated for at least one year.
