- Full-time, 8-hour rotating day/evening shifts, on-site
Key Responsibilities
- Perform all technical and mechanical aspects of MRI procedures, including patient positioning and operation of MRI equipment.
- Assess and recognize normal and abnormal anatomy or pathology, tailoring exams accordingly.
- Review imaging with radiologists and contribute technical insights.
- Respond effectively to medical emergencies and stressful situations.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, families, staff, and physicians.
- Conduct Point of Care Testing, including QA and maintenance of associated equipment.
- Ensure appropriate clinical history is obtained for each MRI exam.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited MRI program or current R.T.(MRI) (ARRT) registration.
- MRI registration and CPR certification required.
- Proficient in venipuncture and MRI procedures.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with GE MRI systems.
- Prior experience working in a high-volume, clinical setting.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
