- Full-time, day shifts, 40 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Assist providers during diagnostic and interventional cardiology and radiology procedures in a high-volume lab setting
- Scrub and circulate for various procedures including IR, cardiology, vascular, and electrophysiology (EP)
- Support urgent and emergent procedures, including STEMI and IR callbacks, within established response times
- Operate advanced equipment such as GE MAC Lab, Philips iFR/IVUS, and other specialized surgical tools
- Follow protocols for medication administration performed exclusively by registered nurses
- Work closely with a team of medical professionals to ensure patient safety and procedure success
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a cath lab or interventional radiology setting
- IR experience is mandatory (90% of procedures)
- Valid certifications: ACLS, BCLS, ARRT or RCIS
- Must have skills in EKG lead placement and perform necessary procedures
- Must have or be willing to obtain additional certifications such as ARRT Advanced Cert, RCES, or RCIS with Med Experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience performing EKG lead placement
- Additional certifications like RCES or advanced ARRT certifications
- Familiarity with complex equipment such as Impella, IABP, SonoSite Ultrasound, and RF Ablation units
