Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing pump lines for cannulation and perfusion procedures.
• Provide support during cardiovascular surgeries, including complex cases such as Aneurysm Repair, Valve Replacement, Transplant, and Robotic Assisted Cardiac Surgery.
• Participate in scheduled call requirements, including weekend shifts, holidays, and occasional weekday call-outs.
• Ensure compliance with required certifications and maintain proficiency in advanced cardiovascular surgical techniques.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to support intraoperative procedural needs in a Level 1 Trauma Center environment.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a Level 1 Trauma Center or similar high-acuity environment.
• Certifications: BCLS and NBSTSA.
• Ability to receive pump lines from perfusion and prepare for cannulation.
• Experience with vascular, thoracic, and cardiac surgical cases including TAVR, EVAR, VAD, and transplant procedures.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working with robotic-assisted cardiac surgeries.
• Knowledge of advanced cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures listed in the skillset requirement.
• Flexibility to work scheduled call shifts, including weekends and holidays.
