• Night shifts, full-time, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive nursing care for ER patients, including those hospitalized, in observation, or receiving treatments and infusions.
• Manage care for patients in the emergency department, responding to urgent needs with professionalism and efficiency.
• Utilize equipment such as Epic for computerized charting and barcode medication scanning.
• Document patient interactions accurately and promptly, adhering to hospital protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Follow hospital procedures, including badge-in/out policies and dress code of navy blue scrubs.
Required Qualifications
• Active RN license.
• 2-3 years of Med Surg and/or ER experience preferred.
• Experience with inpatient, observation, and emergency room patient care.
• Ability to operate Epic electronic medical records and barcode medication scanning systems.
• Must badge in and out at the facility.
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Previous experience working in a hospital setting with inpatient and ER populations.
• Knowledge of hospital procedures and equipment.
• Familiarity with hospital policies regarding local candidate placements.
