Job Title
• Therapist - Respiratory Therapist

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities
• Provide respiratory care to adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients in a large critical care setting
• Operate and monitor ventilators (Servo U, Servo I, LTV Trilogy) and other respiratory equipment (ResMed S9, Fisher Paykel High Flow)
• Assess patient needs using AARC point system, typically managing 26-28 points daily
• Collaborate with hospitalist and intensivist teams to deliver comprehensive respiratory treatments
• Follow departmental protocols and ensure compliance with OSF policies including orientation and documentation standards

Required Qualifications
• Active Illinois respiratory therapy license or pending application confirmation
• Certification: BLS, RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or CRT (Certified Respiratory Therapist)
• Experience in a large (300+ bed) critical care facility
• Knowledge of ventilator management and respiratory equipment (Servo ventilators, Bipap, Cpap, High Flow systems)
• Understanding of adult, pediatric, and neonatal patient care

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Recent work within a hospital setting serving ICU, intermediate, and general med patients
• Familiarity with Epic EMR system and ventilator review procedures
• Prior experience working at OSF facilities within the past year is preferred
