• Full-time, Days shift, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients in the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) to ensure safe recovery from anesthesia.
• Provide perioperative nursing care in pre-anesthesia, intraoperative, and post-anesthesia phases.
• Administer sedation and monitor local anesthesia patients in the operating room.
• Communicate effectively with surgical teams and act as a patient advocate throughout the perioperative process.
• Supervise and direct assigned personnel to deliver quality patient care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Support the hospital's mission, vision, and values through adherence to care protocols and policies.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oregon.
• Experience in perioperative or PACU nursing preferred.
• Knowledge of anesthesia procedures and patient monitoring.
• Ability to work efficiently on a scheduled rotation, including being on call for the Post-Anesthesia Unit.
• Strong communication and patient advocacy skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a surgical or recovery unit.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
