Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, temporary (13 weeks), inpatient & outpatient clinic, day shifts (Monday-Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm)
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and develop treatment plans for patients with medical conditions affecting mobility and function.
- Administer prescribed physical therapy treatments to promote movement, reduce pain, and restore functionality.
- Educate patients on injury prevention, ergonomics, and rehabilitation strategies.
- Supervise physical therapy assistants and aides during treatment sessions.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient progress and update treatment plans accordingly.
Required Qualifications
- Alabama state license for Physical Therapy (must be attached to resume)
- Minimum of 2 years recent physical therapy experience, preferably in a hospital setting
- BLS certification (must be through the American Heart Association, attached to submission packet)
- Ability to work in inpatient and outpatient settings
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in hospital environments
- Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
