• Travel, 13-week assignment, full-time, day shifts, 12 hours per shift

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized perioperative nursing care in a busy orthopedic and spine surgery unit.
• Assist in a variety of procedures including joint replacements, arthroscopic sports medicine, spine repairs, and fusion surgeries.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure efficient patient care delivery.
• Adhere to unit policies, safety protocols, and maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Demonstrate adaptability and professionalism in a fast-paced environment with diverse team members.
• Support patient recovery and monitor post-operative progress for orthopedic and spine procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the state of Colorado or the ability to obtain one.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent OR nursing experience.
• Hands-on experience with orthopedic, spine, and joint replacement procedures.
• Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing practices and EMR systems.
• Must have orthopedic, sports medicine, or spine surgery experience.
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts, starting at 7:00 AM.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with hip preservation procedures such as PAO cases.
• Familiarity with intraoperative equipment used in orthopedic and spine surgeries.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• Previous travel nursing experience is a plus.
