Schedule / Job Type
Full-time, 3x12-hour shifts, Days (7a-7p), with Holiday Rotation, on-call not required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) for critically ill patients
• Monitor and respond to patient needs with a focus on cardiac and neuro cases
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Float within scope to meet facility needs, covering similar units or sister facilities as required
• Adhere to hospital policies, including holiday rotation and weekend shifts as scheduled
• Ensure accurate documentation using Epic electronic charting software

Required Qualifications

• Valid SC or Compact nursing license in hand prior to start date
• Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience (preferably 2 years)
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in cardiac and neuro patient care
• Ability to quickly adapt to hospital protocols and electronic medical records
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
