- 13-week contract, full-time, nights shift, on-site
Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to cardiac telemetry patients in a 300-bed acute care hospital
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to patient needs during 12-hour night shifts
- Float to various acute care units as needed
- Perform post-procedure assessments, including management of Cardiac Drips and Tikosyn/Sotalol initiation
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure patient safety and care quality during weekends and holidays
Required Qualifications
- Valid Kansas RN license
- Minimum of 1 year recent telemetry experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Experience with TR Band placement and cardiac drips (Heparin, Lasix, Cardizem)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 2-5 years of telemetry experience
- Familiarity with Epic EMR system
- Experience working in a NICU or nicotine-free facility
