- Full-time, 16-32 week travel assignment, nights shift
Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy to neonatal through adult patients, ensuring optimal patient care.
- Support in various departmental settings including nursery and emergency room as needed.
- Work 12-hour shifts with flexible scheduling to meet department and patient needs.
- Cover every other weekend and work during designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's).
- Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC EMR system and manage medication with Pyxis.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive respiratory care.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of respiratory therapy experience.
- Current NY respiratory therapist license or proof of application (processing time of 6-8 weeks).
- Experience with neonatal/pediatric populations; NRP certification or exposure required.
- EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years is mandatory.
- Valid BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel experience preferred.
- Experience working with high-acuity patients and advanced respiratory equipment such as Puritan Bennett ventilators and invasive monitors.
- Comfortable supporting a variable schedule with weekend and holiday shifts.
