Key Responsibilities
- Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls, providing advanced life support care.
- Operate emergency medical vehicles and equipment to ensure proper functioning and sanitation.
- Assess patients, develop treatment plans, and coordinate care with physicians and responders.
- Assist in medical scene management, including triage, treatment, and patient transport.
- Complete accurate documentation and administrative paperwork per regulatory standards.
- Participate in training and certification updates to adhere to EMS regulations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license in Texas.
- Texas EMT-Paramedic license.
- PHTLS (Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support) certification (can be obtained off-duty through designated providers).
- BLS (AHA), ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA) required.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Minimum of one year of paramedic experience.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision after initial training.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills in emergency environments.
