- Travel, Night shifts, 13-week assignment, full-time (12-hour shifts)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care in a high-acuity antepartum unit for high-risk obstetric patients.
- Monitor fetal well-being using fetal heart-rate monitoring and manage preterm labor and magnesium sulfate administration.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the safety and comfort of antepartum patients.
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech and CPIN systems.
- Ensure compliance with hospital and unit-specific protocols, including dress code and safety policies.
Required Qualifications
- Active Texas RN license (temp licenses are not accepted).
- Minimum of 2 years of hospital experience in high-risk labor and delivery or antepartum nursing.
- BLS, NRP, and Intermediate AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certifications.
- Experience managing high-risk obstetric patients and preterm labor.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with ACLS and RNCM certifications.
- Proficiency with Meditech EHR system.
- Knowledge of advanced obstetric nursing procedures and protocols.
