- Full-time, Days shift, 4 shifts per week, 10-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Circulate and scrub in interventional radiology and special procedure cases, including neuro IR and vascular surgery.
- Start IVs, monitor sedated patients, administer sedation medications, and monitor EKG.
- Assist with advanced procedures such as ACT, EKOS catheter setup, EVD/ICP monitoring, lumbar drains.
- Support patient care for diagnoses including liver failure, AVM, multiple myeloma.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including IR, neuro IR, and vascular surgery.
- Document procedures and patient care accurately using Epic EMR.
Required Qualifications
- Active nursing license (AR license or compact state accepted).
- Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience as a Registered Nurse, including 1 year in IR or neuro IR.
- BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA).
- Prior travel experience in a similar clinical setting preferred.
- Experience with Epic EMR system required.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Neuro Interventional Radiology experience.
- Experience working in a busy tertiary hospital or teaching facility.
- Ability to work independently and handle high-acuity patients in a specialized unit.
