• Full-time, Night shift (4x12 hours)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in an IMC/PCU/Stepdown unit within a short-term acute care hospital.
• Manage telemetry, IV starts, trachs, and vent management, including long-term vents and pulmonary rehab.
• Pass and interpret Relias EKG exams, including management of dysrhythmias.
• Collaborate with respiratory therapists and perform procedures such as ABG draws, port access, and central line management.
• Float within the designated service line and, if necessary, to nearby hospital units to meet patient care needs.
• Maintain documentation in the EPIC charting system.

Required Qualifications

• Valid State RN license (active at time of submission; Missouri license or compact license required).
• Minimum 1 year of PCU/IMC/Stepdown experience.
• BCLS and ACLS certifications.
• Ability to pass Relias EKG interpretation exam.
• Vents, IV start, telemetry, trach management, and pulmonary rehab experience.
• Willingness to float within scope and cross-train as needed.
• RTO request within 7 days per 13-week contract.
• Must have at least 75 miles from the facility (no local candidates accepted).

Preferred Experience / Skills

• BSN degree preferred.
• EPIC charting system experience.
• Experience with long-term vents, weaning, and pulmonary rehab.
• Prior experience in a Level Trauma facility.
