• Full-time, 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week, temp-to-hire

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Medical Surgical unit within a Magnet and Level I Trauma hospital
• Manage patients with a wide range of clinical issues, including blood dyscrasias, endocrine disorders, cardiovascular and renal failure, GI conditions, infectious diseases, and respiratory conditions
• Perform phlebotomy and establish starting IVs
• Document patient care using EPIC electronic charting system
• Collaborate within a team environment to ensure quality patient outcomes and patient safety
• Float within scope and service line to meet facility needs, in accordance with hospital policies

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Missouri (or compact license from home state if applicable) in hand at the time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of hospital experience preferred; 1+ year acceptable if from a Level I or teaching facility
• At least 1 year of recent Medical Surgical experience
• BLS certification
• Ability to work night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Must have or obtain a valid SSN and date of birth for compliance purposes

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system
• Past experience managing complex clinical conditions in acute care settings
• Phlebotomy and IV start skills
• Prior experience working in a Magnet or teaching hospital
