Key Responsibilities

• Perform specialized procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory and Electrophysiology (EP) suite.
• Assist clinicians with scrub duties and patient monitoring during cardiac procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation within the EPIC electronic health record system.
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, safety standards, and patient care regulations.
• Float within scope to support multiple hospital sites within the network, including sister facilities.
• Prioritize and complete time-sensitive modules promptly as part of onboarding and ongoing certification requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in Cardiac Cath Lab or EP technology.
• Current state license as a Cardiovascular Technologist or equivalent (Compact license accepted for starts from 1/1/2023 onward).
• Certification or registration as a Cardiovascular Tech (RCVT) preferred; current AHA ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Ability to recognize ECG rhythms accurately; ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate certification required during orientation.
• Active references from recent supervisors or managers in the specialty within the past 12 months.
• Negative 10-panel drug screen with nicotine (cotinine) test within the past year; NICOTINE FREE status required unless exempted.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with EPIC charting and managing electrophysiology procedures.
• Prior float experience between multiple hospital facilities.
• Familiarity with hospital safety protocols and time-sensitive module completion.
