• Full-time, Night shifts, 36 or 48 hours per week, 13-week contract

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized telemetry nursing care for adult patients with cardiac and other critical conditions.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, manage patient hemodynamics, and respond to cardiac emergencies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Administer medications, including common drips such as Bumex, Dobutamine, and Milrinone.
• Assist with diagnostic procedures, including cardiac catheterizations, echocardiograms, and stress tests.
• Ensure patient safety, especially for those with heart failure or at risk for falls.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse license in Missouri or a compact state (must be in hand at time of submission for Missouri).
• ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of current telemetry or cardiac nursing experience.
• EPIC electronic medical record experience.
• Willingness to float within scope as needed to meet facility demands.
• No more than 7 days of RTO per 13-week contract, prior approval required.
• Must pass compliance requirements, including background and drug screening.
• Valid SSN and DOB required at submission.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with complex cardiac patients, including those with arrhythmias, ACS, heart failure, and valve disease.
• Comfortable with cardioversion, ablation, and advanced cardiac procedures.
• Experience with pulmonary function testing and nuclear stress testing is a plus.
• Ability to work in a magnet and teaching hospital environment.
