  • Full-time, 12-hour night shifts, 4 shifts per week, 26-week contract (flexible between 13-26 weeks)

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients in a Medical Surgical unit.
  • Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment using EPIC charting.
  • Collaborate within the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Float within service line as needed to meet facility demands.
  • Adhere to hospital protocols, including passing Relias EKG exams and managing dysrhythmias.
  • Utilize clinical judgment in acute care scenarios such as respiratory, renal, cardiac, and infectious conditions.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid registered nurse license in the state of Missouri (or valid compact license).
  • Minimum 1 year of RN experience in a Medical Surgical setting.
  • BCLS certification required.
  • EPIC charting experience is required.
  • Ability to pass Relias EKG exam and interpret/manage dysrhythmias.
  • Must be able to float within scope and within service line.

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Experience in a Magnet or Teaching hospital environment.
  • Comfortable with acute care management of complex medical conditions.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules and RTO requests up to 7 days per 13-week contract.

Additional Notes

  • Shift: Night (4x12-hour nights from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM).
  • Must have current Missouri RN license or valid compact license at time of submission.
  • Candidates should be prepared for orientation at the hospital, including parking arrangements.
  • RTO requests should be included in the initial profile and submission email.
  • Candidates will float within the hospital or to nearby facilities as needed.
  • Credentialing includes passing a background check and completing pre-start modules.
