Key Responsibilities

• Verify orders and patient consent, perform comprehensive patient assessments, and provide patient education.
• Prepare and set up the procedure rooms, circulate cases, and assist with moderate sedation and anesthesia support.
• Continuously monitor patient hemodynamics, document procedures accurately, and coordinate effectively with the healthcare team.
• Support a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in cath labs, EP labs, IR, and vascular suites, including complex cases like ablations, implants, and vascular repairs.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols, assist with anesthesia, and support emergency protocols as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of cath lab experience.
• Proven experience with IABP supportive devices.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Ability to verify orders, assist with sedation, and monitor patient vital signs.
• Proficiency with EMR systems such as Merge and Cerner.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with a variety of diagnostic and interventional procedures such as PCI, structural interventions, EP ablations, neuro interventions, and vascular repairs.
• Prior experience working in a fast-paced cath/EP lab environment.
• Ability to work rotating day shifts with on-call responsibilities.
