Registered Nurse Observation
Job Title
• Registered Nurse - Observation
Location
• Vero Beach, FL
Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Days shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialized nursing care to observation patients in a hospital setting
• Monitor patient conditions, record medical data, and communicate changes to healthcare team
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to develop and implement patient care plans
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety protocols
Required Qualifications
• Valid Florida nursing license (RN) in good standing
• Minimum of 18 months of relevant professional experience in observation or acute care nursing
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications at the time of submission
• Ability to recognize and interpret ECG rhythms and demonstrate safe medication administration (training provided if needed)
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience working in a hospital’s observation unit or similar acute care environment
• Familiarity with Epic electronic charting system
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, multitasking environment
