Registered Nurse - Telemetry
Location: Boston, MA
Schedule / Job Type: Contract, Rotating shifts (3 shifts per week, 12 hours per shift), rotating days/evenings/nights

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a busy medical-surgical telemetry unit within a 600-bed teaching hospital.
• Monitor and manage telemetry equipment, including EKGs and other cardiac monitoring devices.
• Administer medications, including IV therapies, blood transfusions, and nebulizers, following unit-specific protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Respond to emergency situations such as leveling up to Level I trauma care when required.
• Support a diverse patient population, including neurology, cardiac, bariatric, oncology, transplant, and orthopedic cases.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in Massachusetts (must be submitted at time of application).
• At least 3 years of nursing experience, with prior travel experience preferred.
• Current CPR (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certification.
• Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with web-based applications.
• Experience with Epic electronic health records.
• Level I trauma experience required.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Prior experience in a teaching hospital setting.
• Specialty area expertise such as neurology, cardiology, or transplant.
