Registered Nurse - ICU
Location: Fort Wayne, IN
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Nights, 3x12-hour shifts per week, rotating weekends and weekdays, floating to other units as needed, multiple shift options including weekend-only assignments.
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in a mixed acuity ICU and progressive care unit.
• Care for ventilated patients, including initiating and titrating IV drips such as vasopressors, sedatives, and paralytics.
• Assist with intubations, line placements, and other invasive procedures.
• Monitor critically ill patients with diagnoses including sepsis, respiratory failure, renal failure, myocardial infarctions, pulmonary embolism, and pneumonia.
• Use equipment such as Phillips heart monitors, Epic EMR, Pyxis medication system, EKG machines, and dopplers.
  Required Qualifications:
• Active RN license in Indiana.
• BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications.
• Minimum of 1.5 years of ICU experience; 2 years preferred.
• Strong experience with medical and critical care patients, critical thinking, team orientation, and personable demeanor.
  Preferred Experience / Skills:
• Prior experience in a mixed acuity ICU and progressive care environment.
• Ability to adapt and float across units and departments.
• Familiarity with critical care equipment and EMR systems.
