• Full-time, Night shifts, 4x10-hour shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide postoperative care to patients recovering from anesthesia in a Level I trauma center.
• Manage complex postoperative patients, including those with multiple drains, vasoactive drips, and mechanical ventilation.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry, manage vasoactive medications, and recover patients from general anesthesia.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient recovery.
• Demonstrate proficiency in EKG interpretation and dysrhythmia management.
• Float within the service line to meet hospital needs as required.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of critical care experience or PACU experience at a Level I Trauma Center.
• Active Missouri RN license (or pending license accepted).
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Proficiency in managing ventilators, IV starts, and telemetry.
• Ability to pass Relias EKG exam.
• Must be able to work rotating night shifts with a start time between 2100 and 2300.
• Willingness to participate in on-call shifts, totaling 24 hours per 6-week schedule.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience managing postoperative cardiac and trauma patients.
• Epic charting system proficiency.
• Experience with complex postoperative patient management, including vasoactive infusions and mechanical ventilation.
