Job Title

• Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Days shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit, including monitoring and managing patient conditions.
• Perform continuous cardiac monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias.
• Access and manage IV lines, including PICC and central lines, and administer blood products.
• Assist with procedures such as chest tube insertion and removal, and manage high-flow nasal cannula (HFNC).
• Adhere to infection prevention protocols and implement patient fall prevention strategies.
• Document patient care and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Valid state license or compact license as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum of 2 years RN experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system.
• Ability to interpret dysrhythmias and manage arterial lines.
• Comfortable floating within units of similar or lower acuity.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience.
• Oncology experience (preferred but not required).
• Familiarity with GE telemetry systems and B450 monitors.
• Experience with patient safety and infection control measures.
