Key Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient rehabilitation therapy to diverse patient populations, including geriatrics, neurologic, and orthopedic cases.
• Conduct assessments using various skilled techniques such as AROM, PROM, sensory responses, and vital sign monitoring.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligning with patient goals and facility protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
• Maintain detailed documentation of patient progress, assessments, and treatment outcomes.
• Float within hospital units as needed to meet department staffing needs.

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois state license in good standing.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in acute care or rehabilitation settings.
• Ability to work 5 days per week, including every third weekend.
• Must work within scope to various hospital units; flexibility to float required.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with cardiopulmonary, neurologic, and orthopedic patient populations.
• Proficiency with Cerner charting system.
• Knowledge of trauma-level hospital procedures and rapid response protocols.
• Excellent assessment skills in areas such as gait training, prosthetic training, and neurologic rehabilitation.
