Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Night shifts, 12-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialized bedside care for neuro telemetry patients, including those with CVA/TIA, subdurals, and seizure disorders
• Manage post-operative recovery patients following surgeries such as Whipple procedures, esophagectomies, and colon resections
• Monitor and respond to cardiac and neurological telemetry data accurately
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Float to Medical-Surgical units as needed to support staffing
Required Qualifications
• Active Illinois RN license
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
• Epic EMR experience
• Experience with neuro telemetry and post-surgical patient care
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Prior experience managing patients with CVA/TIA, seizure disorders, or post-op recovery in a telemetry setting
• Knowledge of vascular and surgical oncology patient care without chemo administration
• Ability to adapt to floating assignments and multitask effectively
