Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review treatment plans for radiation therapy under the supervision of radiation oncologists.
• Utilize Prisma Health's EMR systems, including EPIC, to document and manage patient treatment data.
• Float to different units or campuses as needed, performing tasks for which competencies have been demonstrated and documented.
• Adhere to safety protocols and licensing requirements, including ARRT certification, state license, and BLS certification.
• Follow Prisma Health’s floating and travel compliance policies for contracted staff, abiding by mileage and coverage guidelines.
• Complete required modules and pre-assignment testing within specified timelines.

Required Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy or Dosimetry.
• Valid State license to practice as a Dosimetrist in South Carolina.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum of 1-year recent experience with EPIC EMR.
• Ability to work day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, including a 30-minute lunch.
• Eligibility to float to other units as needed per policy.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with treatment planning systems and radiation therapy technologies.
• Previous experience working within a hospital or clinic environment with Prisma Health or similar institutions.
• Strong understanding of safety and compliance standards related to radiation therapy.
