Full-time, 10-hour shifts, includes call, weekends, and holidays
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized perioperative nursing care to surgical patients in a busy, Level 1 trauma facility
- Assist in the preparation and management of operating rooms for various surgical procedures
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and adherence to sterilization and safety protocols
- Collaborate with surgical teams to deliver high-quality, efficient patient care
- Document patient information and surgical procedures accurately and comprehensively
- Handle after-hours call responsibilities as required
Required Qualifications
- Prior travel nursing experience in a large Level 1 trauma hospital
- Proven high performance across all skills checklists
- Strong clinical skills across all relevant areas
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and call shifts
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in high-volume, high-acuity surgical environments
- Familiarity with trauma surgery protocols and emergency procedures
