Key Responsibilities
- Provide certified CVOR surgical technologist services in a hospital setting.
- Assist surgical teams with cardiovascular procedures, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Maintain a sterile environment and handle surgical equipment efficiently.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient care during cardiovascular surgeries.
- Adhere to hospital policies, including call requirements and floating to different units as needed.
- Complete required training modules and documentation per facility standards.
Required Qualifications
- Certification from the NBSTSA as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CSTAHA BLS required).
- At least 1 year of recent experience working as a CVOR Surgical Technologist.
- EMR experience with at least 1 year using EPIC EMR.
- Ability to obtain and maintain applicable licenses and certifications.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in a hospital CVOR or cardiovascular surgical environment.
- Experience with intraoperative procedures and instrumentation specific to cardiovascular surgeries.
- Ability to work flexible call shifts including weekends.
