Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in patient condition.
- Document patient care accurately in electronic health records.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards.
Required Qualifications
- Active NC or Compact State Nursing License in good standing.
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, preferably in a medical-surgical or telemetry setting.
- BCLS certification required.
- Experience with Med/Surg patient care, Heparin, and Insulin management.
- Ability to pass EKG testing for specialty competency.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience with EPIC medication and documentation systems.
- Comfortable floating to similar units as needed.
- Flexible with working every other weekend and holidays.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
