Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 36 or 48 hours per week, night shifts (3x12 hours)

Key Responsibilities

• Float across various pediatric units including PICU, NICU, Peds Medsurg, Peds ED, and postpartum/mother-baby.
• Provide specialized nursing care to pediatric patients, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver quality patient outcomes.
• Adhere to all hospital policies and float policies, including Epic charting requirements.
• Flexibility to work weekends and up to two winter holidays as scheduled.
• Maintain certification requirements such as BLS, NRP, ACLS, and PALS.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years PICU experience.
• Valid state nursing license (pending licenses accepted; must be in hand before start date).
• Pediatric Nursing experience particularly in PICU and NICU settings.
• Current BLS, NRP, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Epic electronic medical record experience.
• Must have or be eligible for Dr. Brown’s Infant Driven Feeding Certification (cost $185).

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NICU or float pool experience in pediatric settings.
• BSN degree preferred.
• Ability to float within scope of practice as needed.
