Job Title
• Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Tele
Location
• Wilmington, NC
Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, 12-hour day shifts
Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit
• Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and perform assessments
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
• Document patient information accurately in electronic health records
• Float to different medical/surgical floors as needed within scope of practice
• Adhere to unit policies, including infection control and safety protocols
Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a hospital setting
• Valid North Carolina or Compact state RN license in hand
• Ability to pass EKG testing prior to start
• Experience with IV starts and telemetry monitoring
• Comfortable working with electronic systems such as EPIC and Pyxis
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Certifications such as ACLS and NIHSS
• Previous travel nursing experience in acute care settings
• Experience working on a fast-paced, unit-based environment
