Registered Nurse - Emergency Room
Location: Austin, TX
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, 13-week contract, night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), working 3 shifts per week (12 hours each)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to emergency department patients in a fast-paced environment
• Monitor and respond to patient needs, including trauma, cardiac, behavioral health, and other emergencies
• Administer medications, perform procedures such as EKGs, splinting, and central line access
• Utilize advanced equipment including Alaris pumps, Rapid infusers, and Stryker stretchers
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document care accurately in MEDITECH EMR system

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or appropriate state
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum 1 year of emergency room or critical care nursing experience
• Inpatient or emergency department experience preferred
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts reliably

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• ENPC and TNCC certifications
• Experience with Meditech EMR system
• Trauma or behavioral health experience
• Strong multitasking and team collaboration skills
