Job Title

• Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Tele

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care within a Medical Surgical/Tele unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.
• Monitor and respond to patient needs, including vasoactive drips and stroke management.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Document patient care accurately in electronic health records.
• Float within scope to all three facility locations within a 20-mile radius as needed.
• Adhere to hospital policies, including completing mandatory modules and certifications promptly.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months recent experience in telehealth or acute care settings, including Medical Surgical or Telemetry units.
• Valid permanent Ohio nursing license at time of submission (compact licenses accepted from 01/01/2023 forward).
• Active certifications: BLS, ACLS (must have at submission), NIH Stroke Scale (must obtain prior to start).
• Ability to recognize ECG rhythms and pass related assessments during orientation.
• Must pass background check and drug screening (10 Panel + Nicotine cotinine test).

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with vasoactive drips and stroke patients.
• Experience working in teaching or Level Trauma hospitals is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments and handle multiple priorities.
