Registered Nurse ICU

Job Title
• Registered Nurse - ICU

Location
• Fort Wayne, IN

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Night shifts (3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts)

Key Responsibilities
• Provide patient care in a high-acuity ICU setting, including ventilator management and use of monitoring equipment.
• Document patient information using electronic health record systems.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Assist with patient assessments and respond to emergency situations as needed.
• Participate in unit-specific training and complete mandatory orientation.

Required Qualifications
• Current Indiana or compact RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of Medical, Surgical, and/or ICU experience, including at least 1 year in ICU.
• Proficiency with EPIC charting and Pyxis medication systems.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Prior experience working in a critical care or ICU environment.
• Ability to float between different ICU units within the department.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work efficiently in a multidisciplinary team.
