- Full-time, temporary contract
- Day shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
- Shift schedule typically 7 days on, 7 days off with varying hours weekly
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in a busy Emergency Department with multi-area rotation, including main ED, fast track, and observation units
- Perform triage, quick registration, and entry screening for incoming patients
- Assist with Covid testing and immunization clinics as needed
- Rotate through different ED areas regularly based on patient volume and unit needs
- Float to other departments when qualified and required, including task-oriented duties such as answering call lights and phones
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years recent RN experience in an emergency or similar setting
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Valid Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Valid Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Certification (ENPC)
- Valid TNCC and conscious sedation certification (certification obtained through the facility after onboarding, with a $105 fee)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a hospital emergency department with multiple rapid assessment areas
- Ability to adapt to rotating shift schedules and department requirements
- Comfortable performing Covid testing and immunizations
