Key Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons and nursing staff during surgical procedures
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and successful outcomes
- Demonstrate clinical competence in surgical procedures, sterile techniques, endoscopy, and materials management
- Maintain sterile environment by understanding and practicing asepsis principles
- Operate surgical and diagnostic equipment safely, including electro-surgical and video equipment
- Ensure all necessary surgical equipment and supplies are prepared prior to procedures
Required Qualifications
- Current CPR certification
- Certification as an Operating Room Surgical Technician
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Ortho surgery experience
